A beautiful Wedding on a warm Autumn’s day

I get all the best girl gangs! These fabulous ladies soaked up the sun on the last of the warm Autumn days a few weeks ago. Looking sensational in their dresses, finished with beautiful bouquets of #sweetavalancheroses and #gypsophilia flowers.

Something Blue… @That Amazing Place

Marquee weddings definitely need drama!
Large white spaces need gorgeous tall displays to fill up the huge expanse of white fabric. The flower choices you make can really create an impact and carry your wedding style through to each of your guest tables. Here @thatamazingplace we used their silver candelabras and created these fabulous informal displays of sky blue hydrangeas, blush and white roses, lisianthus, stocks, bouvardia and trails of amaranthus and eucalyptus.

Throw some “Southern Charm” into the mix

These beautiful centrepieces filled @hanburymanormarriott Poles Hall last month. Soft blush @meijerroses were mixed with dramatic dark dahlias and astrantia flowers. Our beautiful bride was all the way from America’s Deep South and she wanted to add a little ‘Southern Charm’ so we included these darling pearls!

A Rosy Glow inside little cute Jam Jars

Jam jar weddings are still a hugely popular option for wedding flowers. These weren’t used as the main centrepiece flowers, but were used to decorate window sills and radiator covers @thefoxandhoundshunsdon We like to mix the sizes of jars to create more interest and throw some tea light votives into the mix to add a rosy glow

Goodbye Summer, it’s been a pleasure

Goodbye Summer! You’ve been hard work for me… Giving me all that heat to deal with! Having to hide my flowers in the cool cellar every night, or borrowing air conditioned offices from lovely local businesses and getting up in the middle of the night on the day of the weddings to make arrangements super fresh, cause I feared they’d wilt overnight! BUT… we managed and throughout the heatwave, we had no droopy flowers! We will forgive you, Summer, for all of that because you made our brides so happy! There was so much drinking on the lawns, partying into the night and saying “I do” in the open air. You’ve been amazing, Summer, the perfect backdrop to our beautiful wedding flowers.
Tomorrow we will launch our New Autumn Signature range of bouquets and the shop will be bursting with golds and oranges. Until next year, Summer 🙋‍♀️. .

A flower wall full of exotic flowers

This gorgeous wall was created for last weeks @lucybeecoconut wedding party. Lucy had already had her intimate wedding ceremony in Majorca the week before. She had really pretty and delicate florals for her big day, so we wanted to create something completely different for the party night back home. After our initial consultation, we chatted about what she liked and what would set the tone for a fabulous party vibe. The main focus was to be the bar, which was straight in front of you as you entered the marquee. So I offered the idea of these two flower walls to stand either side. It was great to work with Lucy as she had the vision to understand my ideas, as well as the trust to give me artistic license to do what I do best. A few months later and et voila… an amazing wedding party night filled with friends and family who danced and drank the night away in front of these two tropical beauties. 🌴 🌷

Phesant feathers amongst fruits and flowers

It was such a treat to be let loose with these flowers, feathers and fruits. These arrangements were designed to compliment a traditional Russian feasting tradition at a wedding. They are reminiscent of antique oil paintings of opulent still life displays. We just love it when brides let us run with our creativity and sketch and design and create until the perfect display arrives on the table! Thank you to our lovely bride for giving us creative license, it was a complete joy working with you!

A beautiful, enchanted Snow White wedding

If Snow White got married in a barn in Buntingford, this is what she’d look like .
Mirella carried a bouquet of Black Bacarra, Naomi, Sweet Avalanche roses, woody waxflowers and Astrantia, and my goodness, didn’t she look beautiful.

What these beautiful gypsophilia bouquets should look like

Ok. I’m putting it out there…. these right here, are what gypsophilia bouquets should look like! Big, beautiful clouds of sweet white flowers! I keep seeing measly shapeless clusters of gyp, tied together. Brides you need to make sure you’re getting the ‘Overtime’ variety of the flower, not the teeny ‘Million Star’. That’s is all!

A winter wedding in Westminster

The Jane Maples dream team took their passion and creativity to the pews of St Margaret’s Westminster to create a beautiful, snowy winter wedding for the bride to be. The ends were filled with big luxury bouquets of gypsophilia tied in bows of white organza. Each girl of the girl squad had a task in the hall and turned it into a perfect wedding that any girl could dream of! What a choice of places to get married!

A romantic wedding set in the grounds of Froyle Park

The gorgeous bride of this delicate wedding loved her bouquet so much she didn’t put it down all day! These small little things make us love our job even more, and we were really proud of this one as it was so big and beautiful. Pinks and grey tones filled the bouquet and perfectly matched the bridesmaids glamourous gowns. We even added dahlia’s to the elegant semi- naked 3 tier wedding cake. Each table had a very large centre piece on it with the added luxury of hydrangea’s and willow.

Hatties’s White Wedding at That Amazing Place

We went to That Amazing Place to fill Hattie’s reception room with Gypsophilia for a country style wedding. Have you ever seen such a perfectly neat and tidy room for a wedding? A gorgeous 30inch ring packed full of Gypsophilia sat perfectly on top of the mantle piece inside the room, with a big and beautiful hydrangea and gypsophilia bouquet held tightly in the bride’s hand as she walked down the aisle to her prince! Gypsophilia works brilliantly for a modern style wedding too, arranged neatly in glass cubes.

A gorgeous, sparkling Italian wedding at Boreham House

A perfect wedding fit for any princess! The marquee was filled with candlesticks topped with lovely full floral balls of hyrangeas, roses, gypsophilia and dahlia’s. A candlebra took centre stage in this delicately designed room with the most beautiful of roses poking there way through. The bride walked down the aisle with a perfectly styled bouquet consisting of blousy white peonies, paired with a new favourite Quicksand rose. The flower girl walked in front with a dreamy gypsophilia pomander, it was so cute and every little girl deserves one of these! The bridesmaids carried gypsophilia bouquets to compliment the brides gorgeous bouquet and doesn’t the bride and her sisters all look stunning.

A whimsical summer wedding at Milling Barn

The guests walked through under an arch that was covered in a gorgeous whimsical style of flowers trailing down to the sweet Milling Barn. Big beautiful hydrangea’s filled the opening of what was going to be a sensational wedding. Chivari chairs gathered around each table with a centrepiece of a rose gold vase stuffed with late season peonies, dusky pink roses, summer delphiniums and astilbe, with mixed eucalyptus leaves. The bride and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of dusky pinks with foilage down the aisle complimenting their sparkly dresses.

Wedding Flowers St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London

“I always take my weddings incredibly seriously and they all come with a certain amount of pressure. Over the last 10 years there’s not much I haven’t done… but when my brother and his fiance told me where they were getting married and that they wanted the hotel’s famous staircase (think Harry Potter and Spice Girls’ Wannabe) covered in white hydrangeas, I felt more pressure than ever! 1,000 hydrangeas, 800 roses and boxes of orchids delivered to the hotel at 3 am on the morning of the wedding, gave me and my amazing team 9 hours to turn this stunning venue into the romantic and luxurious space that they wanted. When staff at the venue tell you that the hotel has never looked so beautiful and the bride and groom tell you that the flowers were perfect and the most beuatiful part of the day…. you know you’ve done a good job.” – Jane
